Basic Specs

Small Project Board

Snap off the main perfboard area and use it alone as you would any other prototyping perfboard. Most of the perfboard area is in a 3-hole-per-pad configuration, with some longer labeled buses thrown in too. The silkscreen indicates which holes are connected.

If the whole circuit lives onboard, you can use the included footprints for the BH9VPC 9V battery box or the PJ-037A 5.5mm DC barrel jack to supply power.

Arduino Perfboard Shield

The Arduino UNO may be the world's most popular small microcontroller board, but it's not that interesting by itself. The hole spacing and alignment of the perfboard area is designed to mount to an UNO for any quick kludge, including the weird .040"-off-grid Arduino Gap. Headers pick up:

Digital Pins D0-D10
Analog Pins A0-A5
Power Pins VIN, 5.0V, 3.3V, GND

Regulated power (3.3V, 5.0V, GND) are connected to labeled buses on the perfboard.

Breadboard Adapters

Want to do some quick testing with SMT components? The adapter half of the multitool contains breadboard adapters for some of the most common basic surface-mount footprints. Snap out the adapters, add your parts, headers, and use them in a breadboard or any .100" pitch perf board, including this one! Adapter listing:

1x SOIC Narrow (8-pin, 14-pin, 16-pin)
1x MSOP (8-pin)
3x SOT23 (3-pin, 5-pin, 6-pin)
2x SC70 (3-pin, 5-pin, 6-pin)
4x SMT (0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, 1210, or any other two-terminal SMT component <.150")

Stencil Frame

For low-volume and prototyping reflow, the single-piece right-angle shape can be used for frameless solderpaste stencil alignment and tooling. Use only one if your custom PCB is .032" thick. If your custom PCB is the standard .062" thick, stack two frames on top of each other and solder into a couple of the through-holes to get the correct thickness. Add a couple strategic pieces of Scotch tape and you'll be applying paste like a machine.

Ruler

Inches on one side. Metric on the other. Tick mark showing which is which and where zero is.

It's a ruler. Maybe a straightedge if you're some kind of maniac.

Great Board

This was perfect for my project, and I'm hoping to use them as my go to board in the future!

It's cheap enough that I don't worry about buying extras.

The buss bars are super handy, and the arduino compatability is a handy thing.

Incredibly Handy

Bought a dozen of these while on special, as I know they'll be handy. Lots of clever ideas incorporated into one proto PCB.
I've already put 4 aside for frames during solder paste stenciling, and cut a couple up for the breakouts.
Being 0.8mm thick, they're easy enough to snap apart after scoring both sides with a blade, but my prefered separation method is with a sheet metal guillotine/shear.

Swiss Army knife for PCBs

I must admit that I have a bit of a thing for collecting PCB rulers so I couldn't resist picking one up.. okay.. 3 of these. I was really surprised by how many features are packed into this little board. The amount of thought and planning what went into this is very apparent Package shipped fast and included a nice personal note. Great seller!

Scalar Prototyping tool

Admittedly an impulse buy but these were on sale and an amazing value for the money.
Where else can you get 11 prototyping adapters and a Arduino prototyping shield for less than a cheeseburger?

It would be nice if they were pre-scored/milled but that in no way degrades the function.
One suggestion, I'd trade one of the six pin SOT-23 adapters for a SOT-223 adapter.

Looks to have many future uses

The quality of the boards looks great and I think they'll be useful when I need a breakout or prototype area with power connector. Price is very competitive so I bought a few to always have around. I haven't soldered one yet but I would maybe prefer a larger annular ring size on the through hole pins to make soldering easier but I think it won't be a problem at all. Thanks!

Great little boards. So many uses!

Nice simple little board. Well made too. I bought 5 - not for anything specific, but just to have them handy for those odd times when you just need something like this. I'll happily buy more once I've used these up :-)

Wow! This is a very cool find!

Buying debug footprints for tiny, tiny devices (SOT-23s, SOICs, MSOPs) is an expensive proposition from, say, Frys electronics or from DigiKey or Mouser.

At first I was under the impression that these came pre-scored; not so, but that's OK... I'll just use a razor knife to score and break apart as needed. I expect that I'll be using these often for knocking out quick prototypes...

Glad you like the design! When you run out, you know where to get more. :)

For what it's worth, I did consider adding a milled v-score pattern to this design to make it easier to snap apart. But in the end there were more cons than pros to that idea so it got nixed. I've found that a single pass with a box-cutter or heavy pocketknife is enough to make it very easy to snap apart what you need while leaving the rest intact and rigid.
