The Level Shifter board is designed to interface I2C or SMBus signals between devices with different VDD voltages.

The Level Shifter Board contains two independent level shifter circuits, with a common ground. Supports voltage levels of 1.8, 3.3 and 5 volts Pins to connect the board with standard jumper wires. Can level shift two different i2c pairs with different high and low voltages for each i2c pair.

Application notes include:

• Example of using one section of the level shifting board to connect from a 5V device to a 3.3V device.
• Example of using one section of the level shifting board to connect from a 5V device to a 1.8V device.
• Example of using both sections of the level shifting board. One section to connect from a 5V device to a 1.8V device and the other section to connect a 5V device to a 3.3V device.
• Example of using both sections of the level shifting board. One section to connect from a 5V device to a 3.3V device and the other section to connect a 3.3V device to a 1.8V device
• Example of using both sections of the level shifting board. One section to connect from a 5V device to both a 3.3V device and a 1.8V device. In this example every device can communicate with every other device.
