What is it?

Its a frontpanel with four touch pads that can be used to build your own touch interface to your modular. There is also four holes for adding jacks. To get the whole story and some ideas on what to build with it watch the video tutorial from the "Modular in a Week" series. With the PCB you can make it into a fully functioning four channel gate drum pad.

Why did you make it?

I wanted a simple way to implement touch in my modular. I also wanted it to be quite nice to look at,not too "home made". It can be made in two ways, either as a CV input where each pad sends a CV signal depending on how much you touch it, or as gated pads, where each pad is like a drum pad or similar that sends a gate when touching the pad. Just like all of Kristian’s products, this is a tremendous value even with shipping cost to the United States, it’s tough to beat the value of this kit. Make sure you watch Kristian’s videos on YouTube and get a feel for what you want to do with this very creative panel. The quality of this panel and the awesome customer service is unmatched.
