What is it?

An led blinking badge / ornament that will bling a red led every seconds. The coin cell should power the device for over a year.

Why did you make it?

I was inspired to make a cat badge after seeing this product https://shop.blinkyparts.com/de/Bausaetze/

I wanted to make a badge that could blink without the worry of changing batteries and so added an Attiny85 to power down the cat between blinks.

What makes it special?

It's a cat, so it's instantly special. The pose is so familiar and identifiable. The power save feature of the device should allow for over a year without battery change. The badge will come with a strong magnet to either attach to clothing or fridge. It could be used as a desk ornament to brighten your day.
