What is it?

It adds an experimenters board to the MSP-EXP430 Launchpad just like the shield for Arduino. This is the board only. The board contains space for all I/O, an extra powerstrip, a ground for scope or logic analyzer, a secondairy power connector and finally connectors for four RC-servo's or power outputs. Note that these boards come without parts, if you want a complete kit go to the shield kit!

Why did you make it?

The MSP430 MPU series are very attractive, the documentation however is rather difficult to manage. So we wrote an online course using the programming language Forth. This shield is a spin-off. I may be useful for anyone who is experimenting with the MSP-EXP430G Launchpad.
