Salvo [RADIX]

The Salvo [RADIX] is a PIC based development platform leveraging the Arduino styling. The compact form and project shields available guarantee that a PIC enthusiast need not migrate away from a stable and robust platform which uses a PIC18F25K22 device. The PIC is pre-programmed with boot-loader firmware, therefore no additional programming hardware or tools are required. The simple use of a USB cable and boot-loading software puts you the customer ready and coding for the purchase price of the PCB, and a shield or additional components.*

Why did we make it?

The Arduino styling opens up the door to the wide range of shields available from internet based and store resellers. PIC Microcontrollers already offer a robust and feature rich platform from which to develop a projects or just to learn embedded coding. The novel compact form ensures that the PCB, if deployed will fit compactly into an enclosure with the shield fitted neatly and securely in the headers.
