The UVicorn necklace is a fun wearable at parties, as there is usually a dearth of UV lights. There is also a flashing hornlight that you can speed up with your finger tip on the mouth.
A creation of Adelle Lin and Matt Pinner, we use it to shine light on glow in the dark art, clothing and makeup. It has been optimized to be very bright blacklight. The horn is wired as a basic flasher circuit to a 555. You can change the resistance and make it flash faster with your finger tip.
We wanted to make the pcb itself a work of art and as we love unicorns, that was the natural shape we took to make the board.
With v2 - we have now added a little switch to the assembly. Also your fully assembled orders will come with a copper chain and clasp! This will make a great present for the holidays.
We also have DIY kits if you want to solder your own! Kits are individually packaged with board and parts to keep it neat and organized. This kit and board is a great way to start learning about 555 timers as you can replace our resistors with the value of your choice.

Super fun project
I purchased the kit rather than the pre-built. My kids and I made this for my wife. Great little project. Not much in the way of documentation. There is a good video on Facebook showing the build if you get stuck. It should be easy for anyone who isn't a first-timer. Adelle and Matt are great sellers. Looking forward to future projects from them.
I would totally recommend it to all unicorn fans out there.
