Features:

Temperature regulation using one of three methods: on/off control, proportional-integral (PI) control by heater power variation and hybrid control (combination of on/off control and PI).
The heater is driven by a phase-controlled dimmer.
Automatic PI controller tuning implemented in an Android application.
Humidity regulation using simple on/off control.
Timer for automatic rotation of eggs.
Buzzer controlled by configurable protection limits for temperature and humidity.
Three configurable 120V TRIAC outputs, which are galvanically isolated from control side.
Modbus protocol over Bluetooth.

Why did I make it?

Because there is no incubator controller on the market with Bluetooth and smartphone application. And the incubator controllers from China are lacking a lot of features, e.g. no PID control and autotuning.

Documentation and download

Android application

Please download and install Android application before placing the order to make sure that it is compatible with your smartphone. Minimal requirements: Android 4.2.2 (tested) and 3.5' screen. Application currently has been tested with following phones: Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy Core Advance, Doogee X5, Doogee X5 PRO. Known incompatible devices: Cube U51GT C4 (Bluetooth doesn't work).

High Voltage Warning

All pins of triacs are connected to hazardous AC mains line voltage. Extreme care should be taken to protect against shock. Don't touch the high voltage side of the PCB (with TRIACs and optoisolators) before physically disconnecting from AC mains.
