What is it?

The D6T-8L-06 is a optical Thermal IR Sensor module from Omron. It measures 8 points on a Line. The location of the measurement points vary with distance and topology of the object.

Why did you make it?

I added the Connector and Gender Changer to evaluate the possibility for tire temperature measurements on a Formula Student Race Car. I also developed a Arduino Demo Project to show the measurements.
