What is it?

It is a board from a (sadly) failed project that was meant to be controlled by an Attiny but it can be changed to be just powered by a 3V coin cell battery and show the custom name you solder with LEDs.

Why did you make it?

I made it for everyone who wants to practise their soldering skills and the result is something you can wear so everybody can know your name or nickname! With this little board, you can also show everyone your love for electronics!

What makes it special?

What makes this nametag special is that you are going to decide which name you are going to create. With all the LEDs supplied, you can create a wide range of names or nicknames, and once you have finished soldering it you can wear it everywhere you go because it includes a brooch pin so you can attach it to your shirt, backpack or even your jeans!

The kit includes

• 1 Awesome matte black PCB
• 40 1206 SMD LEDs (colour of your choice)
• CR2032 cell holder
• SMD tact switch
• Brooch pin

If you would need more LEDs to form the name, please write it once you make the order, I will add them at no cost.

If you order the fully assembled option, please include a message with the name you would like me to solder! If not I will have to contact you and your order might be a little bit delayed!

If you order the KIT version, we have two options; you do all the job following the instructions linked below (really easy) or I can solder the tact switch and I the little bridges. You choose, just let me know!!!
