NOTE: The connection diagram shows pins SDA and SCL on K30 connected directly to a 5V I2C bus with pull-up resistors. I have been using this configuration without any issues for quite some time. You will also find many other K30 projects using the same configuration. Be advised that the manufacturer recommends using voltage level converters when connecting 3V3 pins SDA, SCL from K30 to a 5V I2C bus, so depending on your specific application, this configuration might not work for you. Please refer to the K30 I2C Guide from the K30 page (link bellow).
You can find more information about K30 CO2 sensor here: https://www.tindie.com/products/AlfredC/senseair-k30-co2-sensor/ Please refer to NOTE under Arduino I2C section for more details on I2C connection.
You can download Arduino K30 I2C library from here: https://github.com/FirstCypress/K30_CO2_I2C_Arduino
K30 CO2 sensor has also a serial interface.
