Phillipe the left bank beatnik cat clock/timer (Pre-assembled)

"Phillipe" is a unique cat clock, timer and toy. His functions are controlled by his clicky paws and twiddly nose, with the output displayed on his LCD mouth and rainbow LED eyes. He has a lovely tactile quality with his quality components and wood and embroidery case. The user can customize many features which are saved on an EEPROM making him portable.

I designed Phillipe as I found a lot of electronic products felt cheap and seemed to lack soul, and many electronic works of art lacked functionality. I wanted to combine the two in a new range of products.

What makes the product unique (so far as I can tell) is "Phillipe" is a wooden embroidered cat clock with an original user interface unlike anything else I can find out there. I had to build Phillipe as I wanted something like that myself and it simply didn't exist.

Phillipe comes pre-assembled but can be taken apart and is hackable.
