What is it?

It's a great way to show that you participated in democracy! It's a wearable blinky badge with an ON/OFF and a BLINKING/SOLID switch, so that if blinking lights bug you, you can still wear an awesome LED badge.

Why did you make it?

I thought we all needed something to make voting a little more fun this year, and to encourage everyone who can, to VOTE! Voting is a privilege that not all US citizens have - there are millions living in US territories who are prevented from voting, and more who are currently living abroad and due to COVID, won't receive or return their ballots in time. Everyone who can, must vote!

What makes it special?

It uses a cool astable multivibrator transistor circuit to alternately flash the red and blue LEDs. It also has sweet gold stars and looks fab.

Finally a way to REALLY show how important it is to vote!

I love this thing, flashing and continuously on/off mode switches. I can dial my preferred level of "I voted" pride with this awesome lifetime pin. I keep it on the fridge between elections. Thanks for a great product :)

Last "I voted" badge/sticker I will ever need

This product is fun! It is so important to vote. There is no excuse and this badge allowed me to wear it from the time I voted all the way until the decision was announced. Very well engineered and I will never need an I voted sticker again. I definitely recommend this shop and all the neat quirky creations she makes. Can't wait to see what is next.

A blinking " I Voted"

I proudly wear an "I voted" sticker after I vote. And to have the opportunity to wear one that blinks was perfect. My sticker would last a day. I wore this pin proudly for two weeks (early voter). The design was simple, efficient and built well. The concept of the magnets was great. Shipping was fast and fairly priced. The addition of information about "frivolous circuits" made me feel even better that I was supporting a woman owned, woman staffed engineering company. I will be on the lookout for any new, fun and exciting things from this company. I would buy from them again.

Beautiful Flashy Badge

I'm very pleased with Alpenglow's latest offering. The I Voted Blinky Badge is a gorgeous surface mount version of their through hole solder kit badge (also available on Tindy). Being an electronics geek, I also appreciate the simple transistor oscillator circuit which is used to drive the flashing red and glue LED's. Get one (or two) and do your part to get out the vote!
