What is it?

It is a breadboard compatible ISP header that plugs into the power rail. It is sold as a kit, soldering is required, we have instructions here, but it's very quick and easy to put together.

Why did you make it?

We wanted to make a minimal ISP header that didn't cover a lot of connection points on your breadboard, and used the power rail.

What makes it special?

It obstructs the minimum amount of connection points - only the 4 needed for programming signals, plus some space on the power rail. We used two headers on the power rail and put the connector between the two, so it's very stable and easy to plug/unplug a programmer or cable. It also has an ON/OFF switch for either connecting or isolating your programmer's power from your breadboard.

A neat little kit that works as advertised

Speedy, trackable international delivery (placed order on Sunday, shipped on Monday) in a bubble-wrap mailer that I can reuse for my own mysterious purposes. The kit arrived complete (I even got two extra header pins) and in good condition. It was easy to assemble, fits snugly into the breadboard and fulfils its intended function. Worth the five bucks, if you have use for this kind of ISP adapter.
