Hi! My name is Andrew Hennessy. I am a 16-year old sophomore from Atlanta, Georgia. My parents, teachers, and friends describe me as a high-energy and creative technologist, artist and inventor; often I see the world, and take on the world, differently than others my age.

Last summer, after backpacking with a group of friends out West, I interviewed for a job at PeachDish, an Atlanta-based Internet start-up. It was a perfect match for me since it offered a combination of things I have long been fascinated by: cooking, logistics, marketing, and web design. The founder now mentors me on a concept I am planning to bring to market shortly: an aerial drone photography company.

Beginning in 8th grade, I offered IT Services to family friends and neighbors, who were grateful for my affordable, reliable, and competent work. I was amazed at how easy it was to make my customers happy by solving their technology problems.

As a 7th grader, I presented my “Turning Lost into Found” invention at a TEDx Conference in Vancouver, BC. My talk relayed how I used QR codes to re-engineer the Lost and Found at Trinity School.

Wherever I go, I see opportunities to connect the physical world with the digital world and I would like to take that a step further with my Tindie Store.
