GSM/GPRS/SMS/HTTP/MQTT/IOT 4G Remote Controller

The EC21 series remote controller is a versatile device which can be attached to many electronic devices in homes, offices, plant or wherever required. It includes three independent relay switches and two digital alarm inputs. It allows operators to control/monitor remote equipment or machines using SMS (Short Message Service) via the GSM/4G network.

Overview EC21 is an LTE Cat 1 wireless communication module for M2M and IoT fields. It can well meet customers' application requirements for high cost performance and low power consumption, and supports a maximum downlink rate of 10Mbps and a maximum uplink rate of 5Mbps. EC21 series is especially suitable for occasions that do not require high network speed but require stable and reliable LTE network connection.

EC21 is compatible with UMTS/HSPA+ UC20 modules and multi-network standard LTE EC20 and EC25 modules in package. This series of modules includes a total of 10 versions as follows: EC21-E, EC21-EU, EC21-EC, EC21-A, EC21-V, EC21-AU, EC21-AUT, EC21-AUV, EC21-J and EC21-KL; It is backward compatible with existing EDGE and GSM/GPRS networks, ensuring that it can work well in remote areas lacking 3G and 4G networks.

Based on Qualcomm's advanced IZat positioning technology (Gen8C Lite), EC21 integrates a multi-constellation GNSS receiver, supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS positioning technologies, enabling faster, more accurate and more reliable positioning. Built-in GNSS also greatly simplifies the design of customer applications.

EC21 has built-in rich network protocols, integrates multiple industry standard interfaces, and supports multiple drivers and software functions (such as Windows 7/8/8.1/10, USB virtual serial port driver under Linux, Android and other operating systems, eCall*, etc.) ; Greatly expands its application scope in M2M and IoT fields, such as smart meter reading, wearable devices, environmental monitoring, asset tracking, fleet management, and security systems.
