This adapter reduces wire clutter and soldering by combining 2 pins on each of the 4 pin sensor wires so that one 5V and one GND pin are required on the printer controller board instead of two 5V and two GND pins. I originally created this adapter to more cleanly connect 2 filament runout sensors to the Ultimainboard v2.x.x used in the Ultimaker Original+ and Ultimaker 2/2+.
This adapter board is made for filament runout sensors with 3 pins (5V,GND,SIG) and can be used with any printer controller board that has 5V, GND, and 2 input pins available.
