What is it?

Cable is color coded and is 7 feet long, with tinned ends.

Why did you make it?

Most sensors can be expensive and only moderately accurate, particularly when it comes to temperature. So we found the most accurate and reasonably priced high quality sensor we could find, and spent the time to prepare it with a long enough cable to be deployed into your field or garden.

What makes it special?

Including the sensor in your project is as simple as plugging it in and converting the analog voltage returned by the sensor into temperature.

Forget monkeying around with SPI, I2C, etc. If you can read an analog pin, you can have accurate temperature available to your project. We've even got a sample arduino sketch for you to get you going.
