Overview

This mini LED driver is designed to fit anywhere you need. Its size is only 15mm by 20mm or 0.59" by 0.79". Circuit is designed to drive LEDs gently, there are currently 3 configurations for 300mA, 330mA and 650mA drive current. A bit less than max current for 1W and 3W LEDs selected to ensure LEDs long life. It's also has quality tantalum 100uF capacitor. Current version is designed for 12-15V power rails. PCB is designed to be glued onto a heatsink or aluminum bar or anything metal. Back of the PCB is just a heatsink ground plane. Suitable for driving 1W or 3W LEDs up to 4 in series.

How to use it

It's easy as soldering 4 wires. For power just solder +12-15V to V+ terminal and Ground(-) to V- terminal. Then solder LED anode wire to L+ terminal and LED cathode wire to L- terminal. That's all, apply power and see how led glows. Do not forget to glue PCB with some silicone or heatsink compound to some metal. It can work fine when driving 300mA without heatsink though.
