Once every minute, the dots produce a gentle rhythmic click as they update. Two AA batteries are carefully hidden and provide all the power needed to operate the clock.

This flip-dot binary clock is light-years beyond my LED clocks. It took almost a year to develop and I know of no other clock like it. It utilizes electro-mechanical flip-dots and sophisticated MOSFET drivers for high energy efficiency. For you it means the batteries last a very long time. It has a cool look that is classy, modern and rustic all at the same time. My 10 year old can read it without trouble and it is designed for both wall or desk use.

I make each clock myself, from start to finish. Hard oak is hand-selected and worked to create the beautiful casing surrounding each piece. The clock itself is an artistic synthesis of the digital present and rustic past and makes an exquisite conversation piece to be remembered by all who see it.

The dark stained oak fits with nearly any decor while the black and white face provide optimal contrast for viewing. Each clock expresses both individuality and sophistication, without neglecting a simple charm and quaintness. The clock measures six inches square and is two and a half inches deep.

One simple button sets the time and synchronizes the clock to the second. A precision quartz crystal is used to guarantee accurate time and efficiency. The entire clock was designed and created by myself, a licensed professional engineer in the U.S.A.

The timepiece comes well-packed and complete with instructions.
