I designed this kit for hardcore binary aficionados. If binary coded decimal is not good enough and you must have Pure Binary time, this is the kit for you. The hours can be read in true 5-bit binary and the minutes and seconds in 6-bit binary.

The kit may be powered by a USB connection from a computer, USB hub or even a USB charger! The time is set with a simple on-board touch sensor.

Touch the sensor for 2-5 seconds to synchronize the clock to the nearest minute (forwards and backwards in time). Touch the sensor for more than 5 seconds and the time will advance, first through the minutes, then through the hours.

Each part is clearly labeled on the printed circuit board for easy assembly. Soldering is required. All of the components are standard easy-to-work thru-hole type. Paper instructions for assembly and operation are included with each kit.

This is a great kit for a great price and makes a fantastic parent child project.

It is quite easy to integrate this into your own project. The LEDs can be wired from the board to your own housing for a custom binary clock of your own design.
