The project is modifying of the I2C Moisture Sensor project from Miceuz. Thanks for his source code.

Please note Battery is included. It is disconnected during shipping. You need to open case and connect the battery when using. The case is not waterproof. One Type C cable is included.

Waterproofing

The sensor comes coated with QIANXIN - a moisture resistant varnish for electronics. It's ok for play around in a flower pot but not enough for outdoor use. You must add an additional protection to the whole sensor! Please check here for more details and tutorials.

Shame. Doesn’t work

Bad. Ordered one and it didn’t work. Got a replacement, it worked for half an hour and nothing since then. The seller answers somewhat promptly but the quality of both product and documentation can be questioned. It’s a shame, I really looked forward to having a small battery powered sensor in my plants.
