Read More…This is the kit for PiggyMeter project. All the components to build a device to remotely read data from electric meter.
PLEASE NOTE: PiggyMeter works only with meters supporting IEC 62056-21:2002 specification modes A, B, C, and D (not E) or passive SML.
There are many devices on the market (even marked as IEC 62056-21 compatible) that use an incompatible protocol. Notable examples of DSML not being supported. Make sure your meter is supported before you buy.

First, solder pin headers onto the optical interface and CPU board (you only need external row soldered).
In the next step, assemble everything as shown in the picture below.
