Surprisingly educational

I like to look at these when riding on the back of my husband'd motorcycle since books flap around too much and I can hold these with one hand. The first time I looked I could hardly understand them, but as I learn more about electronics I'm delighted to find that I understand more and more.

I like to try to take two random cards and then build a project that uses them both. It's fun and I learn a ton. Of course I do the soldering at home, not on the back of the motorcycle.

Great idea, great execution.

These is a very smart way to review your knowledge and learn more stuff. Very nice paper quality.
The only thing about this is that there are only 32 of them ! It'd be nice if this had some more topics covered.

I feel way smarter now!

Beautifully made, nicer than standard playing cards. Clear imagery and just the right amount of explanation of each circuit. Pull out the deck from time to time and (I hope) these circuits will become good friends, easy to spot as blocks in larger circuits.

Great for technical interview practice

I've had technical interviews for electrical engineering at a bunch of places and all of them asked about at least one circuit that was on these cards. If you haven't ever gone over stuff like switching power supplies in class, you're still going to get asked. You can keep these cards in your backpack and flip through them whenever you've got a chance. The cards and box are well made and feel about the same as Bicycle cards, maybe a little more rigid. I haven't figured out any real games to play with them yet, but I'm sure my friends and I will come up with something.
