What is it?

The simplest/smallest LED adapter with resistor. Times 8! Choose whether you want COMMON ANODE or COMMON CATHODE at purchase. If purchasing a bare pcb you can simply flip the leds to determine the common :) Dual pin edge is the COMMON determinant.

Why did you make it?

For those times I need a led array.

What makes it special?

Its small! Can hold a 0603 to 0805 LED/Resistors so you can test a ton of leds. Fits all Blue/Red striped breadboards.

What you get?

You can get the BARE or add resistors and/or leds.

Resistors:

330 Ohm which is pretty bright and well.. to me blinding.
1k Ohm is still pretty bright but more bareable.
2k Ohm which to me is the best option as to not over brighten your board.

Colors:

Blue (8x Blue)
Red (8x Red)
Green (8x Green)
Yellow (8x Yellow)
GGYYRRBB: 2 Green, 2 Yellow, 2 Red and 2 Blue in that order from LEFT to RIGHT.
GGGYYYRR: 3 Green, 3 Yellow, 2 Red in that order from LEFT to RIGHT

Commons:

Common CATHODE will tie all Cathodes or the ground pins together meaning you need to supply a high voltage like 3.3 to 5v to get the led to turn on.
Common ANODE will tie all ANODES or positive pins together meaning you need to give ground to each led to turn on.

Awesome

As soon as I saw this I knew I wanted a bunch. No more messy discrete LEDs and resistors. I bought four, and I'll be buying more in the future.

Super handy

Bought some bare boards and put them together with my own 0603 components. These things are super handy. I use them as a poor man's logic analyzer all the time. Wondering what a chip in your breadbaorded circuit is doing? Slap one of these in (and potentially slow the clock down).

Breadboarding Must-Have!

This seller makes a bunch of great breadboarding tools. These are great for people starting out (youth or otherwise) and for the experienced looking for a much easier tool than hunting down 8 LEDs and some kinda-close resistors. this thing saves me time and space.. love it.. Keep the goodies coming! I'll buy more soon.
