What is it?

Adam Wonak SynthCard PBB & components kit. This business card can be built into an Arduino based utility module for eurorack and semi-modular synthesizers.

Why did you make it?

I have been building modular synth kits for several years now, and have enjoyed experiencing the thoughtful creative designs of modular synth designers like Zlob, Music Thing Modular, and Modulove. My exposure to DIY modular synths naturally led me to the world of reprogrammable microcontroller based modules. This allowed me to combine my professional coding skills with my DIY synth hobby. After learning from many other excellent open source modules, I decided to design my own based off of an amalgamation of circuits from some of my favorite digital modules. Thus, my SynthCard was created as my first original circuit design.

What makes it special?

Both the hardware and software for this modules are open source, meaning you can download the gerber files and order the SynthCard from a PCB manufacturer of your choice, as well purchase the components from the supplier of your choice. Additionally, there are a few firmware demos available to see what some of the creative uses are for this module.
