ACME provides multi-channel power measurements capabilities to the BeagleBone Black.
ACME is based on ACME Cape board and Power Probes, turning it into an advanced power measurement solution.
It enables up to eight channels with accurate VBUS, VSHUNT, CURRENT AND POWER measurements.
The ACME initiative was launched, with the objective of getting rid of all these limitations of current proprietary solutions and providing the community with the most flexible low-cost but high-perf solution! It is completely open source, from HW to SW drivers and applications.
ACME Cape characteristics:
- Up to 8 measurement channels per Cape
- Other BeagleBone Black Cape stacking still possible with full extension signals access
- I2C bus selection possibility through switch
- Identification EEPROM with programmable I2C base address
- Input/Output main signals 6-pin extension header allowing external connection/visualization

- Designed for onboard individual power rail measurements
- Small 2-pin header connection
