Read More…This shield allows you to communicate with RF based devices through WiFi. I personally have used it to communicate with my Moteino Power Blinds project but it can communicate with any 915Mhz RFM69 device. It is designed to work with the WeMos D1 Mini ESP8266 Dev Board.
Example arduino sketches are available in my GitHub which is linked under 'Source Code'. You will also find a copy of my modified version of the LowPowerLab RFM69 library which has been made to work with this shield. For more information about the design of the board itself, see Charles Hallard's GitHub page, linked in the 'Design Files'.
You will need to provide your own 915Mhz antenna for optimal operation and range. There is a uFL connector on the board so you will need an adapter for a standard SMA antenna to work.
Please note: I did not design this board, I simply had the PCBs panelized and manufactured and built the boards myself. I have received permission from the designer, Charles Hallard, to produce and sell this product.
