What is it?

This is the customized led strips we asked the manufacture to use better bonding wire leds and add our repair kit and better connector cables for the power and data input.

• LED type: SK6812-5050 or SKC6812-RV-5050, it is compatible with WS2812/neopixel protocol
• PCB type: Flexible pcb, white color
• strip size: 12mmX5mmX3.15meters
• Waterproof level: IP68
• Data Connector type:JST SM-3p connector for data input only
• Power connector type: 5557/5559 2p connector or Tamiya LP-6.2-2p cables

All of them have passed the 12 to 24 extra Hours burn-in test after manufacture burn-in test.

No controller is include inside this led strip, you can add your own led controller or buy our Blinkytape controller to control it.

Kindly remind that since we sell them as flea Market items, and the price is much lower than the manufacture cost, there is NO RETURN or NO WARRANTY for these items. But I will make sure I will test it before I ship it.

Why did you make it?

It is sk6812 led strips for customized project. We always make some extra for project use.

What makes it special?

I mean 455 SK6812 LEDs in a strip, isn't it a good deal for DIY project.

Tips for using these strips for DIY project

1. Since it is 36mA per led for full brightness with white color, it is over 16A for this max application in theory. Please DO NOT run it like this. The FPC CAN NOT handle this extremely application. We recommend run it less than 8A for the whole strip in project use. Or you can cut it into 1 to 2 meters for your project use. But of course our burn-in test is higher than that.

2. Make sure the power is not from the controller to the strip. Because the 5V output from the controller is really limited. Like Blinkytape is from the micro USB which is less than 2A. The power input for the led strip must from the Black and Red cable with the bigger gauge cable on the photos.
