Our breakout board contains the U-Blox NINA-W102; a standalone WiFi & Bluetooth module. This board will allow you to develop software quickly and to debug with ease.
All of NINA’s pins are broken out to a 2.54mm pitch header; allowing NINA to be easily integrated into your current projects. Each pin is also broken out to a oscilloscope probe point; allowing easy access to monitor live signals/data. Communication lines (UART, SPI, & JTAG) have a pull down LED; allowing you to quickly identify communication through the means of the blinking LED. There is a button for reset and a button for boot. There are 4 pins each for 3.3V and GND; allowing you to power 3 other devices off this board. There is a 32kHz oscillator on the board which will be NINA’s clock source during low power mode.
Integrated in NINA is the ESP32-D0WDQ6; a dual core CPU with an open architecture. ESP32 has a large online support community; allowing you to quickly flash and evaluate demo software. The combination of the ESP32’s open architecture and our board’s breakout design will allow you to repurpose our board for various other applications beside wifi and bluetooth.
