This is a "warmer" alternative LED light board for the range light found in Frigidaire microwaves (for example, Model No. LFMV1846VFA).

Why did you make it?

The stock range light shipped with the unit is a "cool" white light. Some people find "warmer" white light more comfortable for their kitchen, and there was not a drop-in substitute available.

Great Replacement LED

I do not understand why manufacturers use white LED in the newer appliances these days. This was one of the reasons I did not upgrade my microwave when I first moved into my condo, but when it finally died, I had no choice. I was using replacement LED bulbs from Amazon in my old microwave. They were the screw-on type so were easy to replace. When I found out that the new microwave uses special LED boards, I despaired, but after a frantic search on the Internet, I found a chat that mentioned this product, so I hurried to the web site and put in an order. The shipping took a week (I live in Canada), but I was pleased when I received it. It was very well packaged and looked high quality, and it only took a few minutes for me to install the new boards. It's amazing how the warmer light drastically changes my feeling of the microwave. Now I don't have a patch of cold white light in the kitchen that sticks out like an eyesore. If I were to nitpick, I would say that I wish it came in a 3000K version. All my kitchen lighting is 3000K, so at 2700K these LEDs are a bit too warm. Still, I would gladly take these any day over the atrocious white LEDs that came from the factory. Thank you Bober for making these!

This is a GAME CHANGER!

This is a product I can genuinely say is worth every penny. The warm hue is perfect for a more inviting and friendly environment in your home. The kitchen is so important and there should be no room for cold lifeless colors. Thank you for building this for me. Easy install and came fast in perfect condition.

Perfect Alternative

I was excited to update my kitchen with a new microwave, but was disappointed when I saw the cold, blue-toned light it emitted. I looked high and low for a warm alternative, but was out of luck until I stumbled onto a Reddit thread that lead me here. Never having been on Tindie before, I was a little nervous about ordering. It turned out to be the best decision and solved my problem. Shipping was immediate, and I was able to track my order. The lights were packaged with care and easy to install. Best of all, they transformed the look of my kitchen, and produced a warm, inviting space. Absolutely perfect warm LED replacement for factory part

Took 1 minute to swap out the factory board for this one without needing to consult any manual. Perfect physical fit, nice bright warm light to replace the cold factory LEDs. Shipped very quickly. Highly recommended!

Amazing product! Exactly as described!

Just like the product description says, a warmer color temperature to replace the gross, cold white/blue LED that comes from the factory.

Communication with the seller was excellent.

Installation was a breeze and 100% plug n play.
