Using standoffs (not included) you can create an additional layer of your quadcopter electronics' stack to include components which don't have the 20x20 or 30x30 layout.
In the building of my FlosStyle F60-powered quadcopter, I had two components, a TBS Crossfire Nano RX and AKK X2 Ultimate that I wanted to secure down into either the 20mm x 20mm pattern or 30mm x 30mm pattern available on the frame.
It meets the 20x20 or 30x30 layout's dimensions, there's plenty of surface area to use something like servo tape, velcro, etc... to affix something. It also has notches in the side where you can use a zip tie or rubber bands to strap something around it.
