Excellent dimmer pack!

I use this dimmer pack to control radiant heaters in reptile enclosures. The dimmers are hooked into a raspberry pi which is running the control software. These work very well and are reliable (which is important for temp control for animals). I have bought them twice, and will likely be buying more. I wouldn't hesitate to use this module in other projects. Thanks for selling a great product!

Power output flickers

The power output pulses and flickers a bit regardless of the PWM frequency or DC input used. Not suitable for my application.

EDIT: A replacement was sent but unfortunately it performs the same as the original.

Very well designed and manufactured!

The designer has made an excellent work with this dimmer. The PCB layout is very neat, the silkscreen clearly shows the components and their values. The assembly is professional. All pieces of this product demonstrates superior craftsmanship. Get a CE and I am happy to design in this dimmer into my next commercial project!

Excellent product, quick shipment

I was looking for a dimmer which I can control with an Arduino by using its PWM output and simple code. If you search the internet there are not many products like the one sold by tindie on the market. The shipment was quick and the pcb made an excellent impression. AC high voltage and low voltage section clearly separated only linked with optocouplers.
I used the sample code provided on the product page and the dimmer worked instantly as it should. I use the dimmer to control the power of a spotwelder made of a converted microwave oven transformer where an Arduino controls the pulse length and the power (inductive load). Everything works perfect now, by means of controlling power and pulse length I can weld a wide range of sheet metals of different thickness.

Works as described!

No documentation on the product, but not hard to figure out. Attach it to the Vcc and GND, then just connect a PWM to control it. I am using it with a Raspberry Pi and it works flawlessly! Very satisfied with the product and would recommend to others/buy again if i need another.
