You've heard the warnings, but binary failures be damned, you want a crystal Makerbot! This set of laser cut acrylic parts works as an upgrade for current ToM kits.

I'm also including a wood X-stage with the kit in addition to an acrylic one, as there have been reports of the acrylic X-stage loosing its rigidity when used with the heated build platform.

If you find that something doesn't quite fit right or is left out because of design changes with your kit when you get the laser cut kit, just let me know and I'll send you updated parts ASAP. This offer does not extend to future upgrades made after you get things up and running, this is open source stuff so it changes rapidly!

Note that these kits are "blank" in that they don't have the Makerbot Industries logo (per their request). If you would like to further customize your case (mechanical or cosmetic), please contact sales@built-to-spec.com.

Also note that you'll have to glue your press fit bearings into the acrylic (you know, without breaking stuff). Shipping is included in the price of this item.
