This board allows for easy programming of the ATmega328P DIP-28 MCU chip from the Arduino IDE. The ZIF ( Zero Insertion Force ) socket eliminates wear and tear on the pins and is essential if you are programming several chips. Just connect a USBASP programmer to the included 6-pin ICSP header, drop in a chip and closer the lever to make contact with the chip. Upload your sketch or bootloader from the IDE. Repeat as necessary for all of the MCUs that you need to program. Perfect for installing bootloaders.

This board is a re-purposing of my AS-UNO board rev. 0.9 which had a mechanical layout error which makes if difficult to use on a breadboard. I do not anticipate that this board would be used on a breadboard.

NOTE: - this item requires soldering of the ZIF socket and the ICSP header.

This board stands out for it's simplicity and low cost due to it being a re-purpose.
