This is my first attempt at a RISC-V dev kit. Happy to report that it came out real close to proto perfect.

Because RISC-V has no royalty charges it allows me to offer very low-cost, high-performance "Arduino" format boards.

The uRV-203 is available in various form factors that attempt to be compatible with "UNO" and "mega2560" shields as well as a "Nano" type form factor.

WCH (Nanjing Qinheng Microelectronics Co., Ltd) offers a line of RISC-V based microcontrollers with specs (and pin-outs) comparable - if not compatible - with the ST-Micro line of ARM based products widely known as STM32 (Blue Pill / Black Pill). I plan to release several boards based on WCH products.

WCH has created an Arduino IDE boards package for some of their MCUs including this CH32V203 but as yet it does not seem to support Linux (which makes it a no-go for me). They offer an Eclipse-based IDE called Moun River Studio. The WCH github and my own github offer example software for the many peripherals included in this capable MCU.
