Why did you make it?

I'm commonly asked if I'm aware of a USB Type C breakout board which supports USB C-C charging and data transfer. Here you have it. This is a breakout board which natively supports C-C Charging and data transfer. This is accomplished with two 5.1kΩ pull-down resistors on the CC1 and CC2 lines. This board also leaves all pins of the type C connector broken out. This includes: VCC, GND, D+, D-, CC1, CC2, SB1, and SB2.
