This Pi Hat has been completely redesigned to allow for easier manufacture and assembly. It now uses a low-profile 40-pin SMD header and comes with a stacking header extension.

It still includes all of the features that made the original hat such a big seller. It has (8) 10-Bit channels accessed via SPI, and (4) 12-Bit channels accessed via I2C. It has a self-healing poly fuse on the 5V line, filter capacitors, and a power LED. The MAX input voltage is 5.5V on the 10-bit channels and 6.14V on the 12-bit channels. There are solder-jumpers to switch between hardware/software SPI mode, to select the SPI CE (0/1) and to select the I2C address for the ADS1015. The ALERT function of the ADS10has been broken out to rPI GPIO 26.

NOTE: This board ships with all screw terminals un-soldered. Some light soldering is required to connect the headers prior to use. You can optionally elect to have the board shipped to you completely assembled for a nominal fee by selecting the option on the right.

All SMD components are pre-assembled, including the EEPROM and related passive components if you select to add them.
