This is a GameBoy Zero common-ground button board with integrated Arduino Leonardo.

This means that is very "plug and play" and is detected by all OSs as a simple 14-button USB Gamepad, though only 12 pins are used currently.

Connecting to the Pi is as simple as soldering to the provided USB pins, either directly to the Pi or with some kind of breakout mini-b connector.

The ISP port is pinned out and labelled for hackers & tinkers to write their own software, and the stock code will be made available shortly.

This listing is for version 1.2 which includes the following buttons:

• DPAD (Up, Down, Left, Right)
• A, B, X, Y
• L1 & R1

v1.2 does not have:

• Analog connections
• L2 & R2
• USB Hub chip
• Audio Capability (USB or PWM)
