Read More…This is an open-source, Digital Command Control (DCC) decoder designed to control up to four turnouts (points/switches). You can use any XIAO compatible MCU to control it. Recommended and tested is the "RP2040".
n.b.: the system is not delivered with a microcontroller and any DCC software.
By making the design open-source, we encourage community involvement, allowing for continuous improvements, bug fixes, and feature additions. This project aims to promote learning about electronics, programming, and DCC systems while providing a practical solution for layout automation.
The decoder is enable to support Railcom and DCC-ACK feedback, although the software support is not yet widespread.
