What is it?

Simple clock based on the SC3610D and LCD. It can be configured to work as alarm clock or radio frequency counter. The clock can be used as single device or embedded in AM/FM radios acting as display of the current frequency, adding an alarm clock function, when the radio is off.

Why did you make it?

I wanted to create small and simple to build alarm clock, which could also be used in radio receiver projects.

What makes it special?

It can be configured to work as clock or AM/FM frequency counter for radio. It has the two needed inputs for the AM or FM frequency and two control inputs to select the mode:

• clock or frequency counter

• the AM or FM radio receiver Five small tactile buttons are used to :

• Set the time (when hold pressed and the buttons "Hours" and "Min" are toggled)

• Set the alarm time - works in the same way as Time set button
• Hours - set hours
• Min - set minutes
• Alarm On/Off - activates/deactivates the alarm As alarm I use universal passive buzzer.
