What is it?

This music player can be used in service rooms. It starts playing if a human enters the room and the light is on. It plays some time after the human leaves the room or stops immediately if the light in the room is switched off. It can be controlled by a single knob - rotating it increases or decreases the sound volume. Pressing it switches to the next song. As storage it uses micro SD card. It plays MP3 music files. The supported sampling rates (kHz)are : 8/11.025/12/16/22.05/24/32/44.1/48 24 -bit DAC output, support for dynamic range 90dB , SNR support 85dB fully supports FAT16 , FAT32 file system, maximum support 32G of the TF card, support 32G of U disk, 64M bytes NORFLASH.

Why did you make it?

I wanted to create automatically triggered music player, which starts to play some relaxing music when I enter the bathroom. I wanted that it is always active, but plays only if someone is there and the light is on. I wanted also to be able to control the sound volume and to be able to skip or hump on the next title using some simple control interface

What makes it special?

This player is activated only if a human presence inside the room and if the light is on. Three versions of the device exist : 1) Player with embedded AC/DC supply adapter - it can be supplied directly by 110V/220V AC power outlet (MUST BE TAKEN ON THE ACCOUNT THAT DANGEROUS FOR YOUR LIFE VOLTAGES EXIST ON THIS BOARD AND ALL SECURITY MEASURES CONCERNING WORKING WITH HIGH VOLTAGES SHALL BE CONSIDERED: THE DEVICE MUST BE MOUNTED IN ELECTRICALLY INSULATING CASE AND THE PCB SHALL BE NOT TOUCHED WHEN UNDER HIGH VOLTAGE) 2) Player with low voltage supply module - a 6V-12V DC external power supply adapter can be used 3) Boxed version - supplied by 110V/220V power net through AC power cable. The case has a carbon looking surface.
