What is it?

This is an I2S PCM5102A Audio DAC with headphone amplifier. It uses the TI headphone amplifier LM4880M.

Why did you make it?

There are a lot of I2S DACs based on PCM5102A, but all of them have only linear output - they require additional amplifier. On this board the power headphone amplifier is embedded and the board can be used directly for some wearable project.

What makes it special?

The board uses high quality TI parts : PCM5102A and LM4880M.
It has very small size - only 22mmx18mm.
The supply voltage is 5V
The board is fully pin compatible with Adafruit QT Py ESP32 Pico board. It can be stacked over or under it and simple connection to the pins 12,13,14 of the board can be done. In this way a very small, but high quality WLAN player or Internet radio can be done.
