What is it?

This product is similar to this : https://www.tindie.com/products/Chichomecho/raspberry-pi-audio-hat/, but simplified. It contains only passive devices and can be used together with headphones or external amplifier.

Why did you make it?

Some models Raspberry Pi does not have direct audio output. The audio can be extracted from the HDMI output but this reqires bulky external devices, which can be quite expensive. An USB audio cards can be used also, but they require also the use of USB hub and they are not always compatible with the OS. The designed by me audio hat solves these problems.

What makes it special?

See the description of the product listed above. To reduce the hight of the product and in this way also the shipping costs this product is sold with unsoldered header, which is sent together with the board. You have to solder it by yourself.
