This board serves as a bridge between the Spotify Car Thing and Raspberry Pi Zero for use with Nocturne. Nocturne is an open-source project that restores functionality to the otherwise obsolete Spotify Car Thing. An optional 3D printed mounting bracket with adhesive can be added as well (or print your own with the STL provided in the documentation link below!).

This board also converts the power input on the Pi to USB-C, allowing the Car Thing's original cable to be used.

Disclaimer --- Nocturne and other Car Thing firmware replacement projects are in active development. This product has been tested and verified to work with the v2.1.1-beta.5 (current as of Jan. 30, 2025) version of Nocturne along with a Raspberry Pi Zero W. While I do not anticipate any problems, I cannot guarantee the same functionality with newer Nocturne versions or other hardware configurations, and I cannot accept returns based on future compatibility issues.
