This is a 12V analog signal conditioner circuit. It was designed to compliment the analog inputs of the EMV3 sold here.

The default configuration is as a unity gain, non inverting signal buffer. The input signal range is 0-12V. The output signal range is 0-11.76V @12V supply voltage.

Typical uses are to convert a high impedance analog signals into a low impedance analog signals. For example one application is to convert a resistive level sensor into a low impedance voltage output suitable for an analog input of the EMV3. Another application would be to monitor existing analog signals on the back of existing engine gauges without affecting the reading.

The board is equipped with several solder jumpers and alternate component foot prints to allow for flexibility. We a few changes this circuit could be an inverting amplifier or a non unity amplifier.

By using a dual footprint design, this board can be supplied with either a L272M or LM358 opamp. The L272 operates from 4-28V and the LM358 operates from 3-32V.
