Read More…This is an adapter card to allow the MaTouch Rotary 2.1" display to connect to be powered from 12Vdc and connect to a Can Bus with 4 wires. I designed this to extend the functionality of this particular display.
This is a simple board but once attached the display allows direct connection to a can bus such as MNEA2000 or automotive application or in my case a marine NMEA2000 bus. This board does not require any modifications to the display. The add on board attaches to the 3 screw on the back and uses one of the 1.5mm x 4 plug harness cables for connections.
This listing is only for the adapter card, the display must be purchased extra from Makerfabs or a reseller. The display shown in pictures below is simply for demonstration purposes.
Software is available upon request. Demonstration software is for an NMEA2000 connection.
