Why did you make it?

Existing DIY breakout boards limit the integration of CT sensors to just a few devices, often requiring complex setups and extensive use of GPIO pins on MCUs. This limitation makes monitoring more than 4 devices challenging and cumbersome. PowerTiger was developed to address this gap by offering a solution that simplifies integration with any MCU featuring an I2C port. With the ability to connect up to 16 power terminals and support for up to 8 modules in parallel on the same I2C wires, PowerTiger minimizes wiring complexity and eliminates the need for additional circuits. This design makes it easier to expand monitoring capabilities and efficiently manage multiple devices.
