What is it?

A mounting plate that has 75 X 75, 100 X 100, 100 X 200 and 200 X 200 VESA patterns to mount to the back of a monitor, and mount points for DIN rails, a carry handle, and slots for hook & loop self-grip straps. The VESA patterns run along the bottom of the plate, and the 75 X 75 and 100 X 100 patterns have options to shift the plate left and right to accommodate monitor cable connectors. Note this product is only for the plate. The DIN rails in the pictures are .25 meter in length (Phoenix Contact 1207639). The handle in most photos is an Everbilt 4 7/8in # 241 768 with Everbilt 3/4in corner brace # 527 580 and 6-32 screws and nuts. We have found the tolerances on 4 7/8in door pulls to be pretty sloppy, so hopefully yours fit without issue. Note monitors come in many varieties of stands, mount locations and cable locations. Carefully review your monitor before deciding if this plate will work for your desired application.

Why did you make it?

I wanted a plate I could use to make a easy to move embedded development or monitoring system, or a easy to carry monitors for troubleshooting computer systems. Most VESA plates have the hole patterns centered, which can create big problems because the plate can block the cable connections. I got tired of needing to cut the plates I bought to access the cable connectors, and drilling holes for the items I wanted to add, so I made my own.

What makes it special?

The DIN VESA Mounting Plate is the only monitor backing plate we know of that has the VESA holes running on the bottom of the plate, and has shift right and shift left options for the popular 75 X 75 and 100 X 100 hole patterns. The carry handle and cord management options increase its utility.
