What is it?

With this board it is possible to make timelapses with your GoPro on your Prusa printer, without any cables or alterations to your 3D Printer (uses the Raspi GPIO on the Einsy Board).

Why did you make it?

It frustrated me that making time lapses with the Prusa printers where chaotic, due to the moving heatbed. Prusa wrote a tutorial how to fix this, by adding some lines to your Gcode in the slicer. But you would still need a camera with an external trigger input, or your smartphone (and an expensive bluetooth board) making you phone less for hours.

Why not do it with a GoPro I have lying around somewhere, was my thought. And so it began....

What makes it special?

No need for any cables. The PCB plugs in directly to the Einsy board, and uses WiFi to communicate with your GoPro :)! Super easy WiFi setup in a few clicks via a computer or laptop (only once needed).

Extra info

The product includes a 3D printed bracket, it will be printed in Prusa's original Black PETG material just like the electronics enclosure on your printer. This ensures proper resilience against heat generated by the Einsy board, whilst keeping the appearance/looks of the electronics enclosure the same.

Works with all Prusa 3D printer versions that have the option for Raspi incorporation (MK3/S/S+). Works with all versions of GoPro 4 till 7, excluding the "Session" versions. (Unfortunately after the 7, GoPro introduced a new proprietary communications protocol..)

Works with other 3D printers as well, as long as you have a 5V/GND and 1 GPIO pin available which you can program. Contact me with any questions before purchasing.
